By creating an account or using gari_me (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. gari_me is operated by Infinity Digital Works, a business registered in Nairobi, Kenya.

You must be at least 18 years old to register an account. By registering you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate, and current, and that you will keep it up to date.

• Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of the listings they create, including specifications, condition, mileage, history, and pricing.
• You may only list vehicles you legally own or are authorized to sell. Logbook details must match the seller's identity.
• Stolen vehicles, vehicles with unresolved liens or finance balances, and vehicles with falsified mileage are strictly prohibited.
• All new listings are subject to admin review. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any listing without notice.
• Free individual sellers may post up to a fair number of listings per month; abusing the free tier may result in suspension.

Buyers must conduct their own due diligence before purchasing a vehicle. We strongly recommend physical inspection, NTSA logbook verification, and meeting in safe, public locations. gari_me is a listing platform, not an escrow service.

• Vehicle transactions are between buyer and seller. gari_me does not handle vehicle payments.
• Fees you pay to gari_me (e.g. Featured Listing) are processed by licensed payment providers (Safaricom Daraja, Paystack). All fees are clearly disclosed before checkout.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by Kenyan law or at our sole discretion.

• Posting misleading, fraudulent, or duplicate listings.
• Asking for or sending advance payments outside the platform's recommended channels.
• Scraping, harvesting, or republishing listings without permission.
• Harassment, hate speech, or any unlawful behavior toward other users.
• Attempting to circumvent our verification, review, or payment systems.

We encourage parties to resolve disputes directly. If you believe a listing or user violates these Terms, please use the "Report listing" option on the listing page or contact us. Disputes between buyer and seller about the vehicle itself are governed by Kenyan consumer law and not by gari_me.

gari_me provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: vehicle condition or quality; the truthfulness of listings; payments made off-platform; damages arising from transactions between users; or downtime, data loss, or other technical issues.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Platform, or harm other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Platform or by email. Continued use of gari_me after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Nairobi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
